Weslynn Walker, is Of Counsel to the Firm. Weslynn Walker has worked for over 15 years helping companies with their transactional needs, including over 11 years as in-house counsel with publicly-traded companies. Ms. Walker also has 4 years of litigation experience. Her practice areas include drafting and negotiating corporate transactions such as technology/software licensing agreements, sales and marketing related agreements, outsourcing agreements and distribution agreements, managing litigation, resolving pre-litigation disputes and providing mergers and acquisitions support (due diligence and contract drafting and negotiation).
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Walker was an Assistant General Counsel with Intuit Inc. and Senior Counsel with Nortel Networks. As in-house counsel Ms. Walker drafted and negotiated multi-million dollar hardware purchase and software license agreements (including exclusive software licenses for inproduct software), successfully negotiated win-win agreements in contract disputes preserving business relationships where necessary, and trained legal and business professionals in various areas including advertising law, contract negotiation and contract administration.
Ms. Walker also was a managing attorney and provided strategic legal counsel to business unit senior leaders, most recently at Intuit as the leader of its Professional Tax software business legal support team and later as the company’s litigation management counsel.
