Gerald Bright

Shareholder-Managing Partner

Gerald is a Shareholder and serves as the Managing Partner of the firm. Gerald is a seasoned civil trial attorney with over 35 years’ experience in general liability litigation, municipal liability defense, commercial litigation, banking litigation, employment litigation, and civil rights litigation under Title VII and 42 U.S.C. §1983.

Gerald has served on the Methodist Richardson Medical Center Advisory Board since 2011 and served as Chair from 2018 to 2021. He also serves on the Methodist Health System Board of Directors (2018-Present). Gerald has been a member of the City of Richardson Tax Increment Financing Reinvestment Board since 2017 and is currently Chair. He also serves on the RISD Foundation Board (Chair 2012-2014), is a former Chair of City of Richardson Planning Commission and has served on several other boards and commissions. Gerald also received the 2023 Citizen of the Year Award from the Richardson Chamber of Commerce.

David L. Craft

David L. Craft, is a shareholder at the firm, and brings over three decades of legal expertise in commercial and banking litigation, general liability, eminent domain, employment, and civil rights litigation, collections, and municipal liability defense. His experience encompasses representing clients in both federal and state appellate courts and he is a certified mediator skilled in various dispute resolution methods. Mr. Craft is licensed to practice in all Texas state courts, all Texas federal courts, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Craft holds a business degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and graduated from the University of Texas School of Law.

Courtney Myers

Senior Associate

Courtney Myers is a dedicated senior associate at the firm’s Dallas office who practices in civil litigation with a focus on labor and employment law. Her practice encompasses a wide range of employment-related matters, including compliance with Title VII, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, and other pertinent federal and state regulations. Courtney brings valuable experience in representing and advising both governmental and private sector employers through various stages of dispute resolution. Before joining the firm, she gained significant expertise in sports management, advising on business and philanthropic initiatives, and managing talent and sponsorship contracts. Courtney is licensed by the State Bar of Texas and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania.

Arthur L. Walker, Jr., is the founder of the firm, and now practices throughout the state of Texas representing municipalities and individuals in personal injury matters. Mr. Walker has over four decades of legal expertise in areas such as personal injury, municipal, and Civil Rights litigation, he also excels in conflict resolution and ADR techniques like mediation and arbitration. Mr. Walker is a respected figure in legal circles, and holds degrees from Princeton University and the University of Texas.
