Gerald Bright

Gerald  is a Shareholder and serves as the Managing Partner of the firm.  Gerald is a seasoned civil trial attorney with over 35 years’ experience in general liability litigation, municipal liability defense, commercial litigation, banking litigation, employment litigation, and civil rights litigation under Title VII and 42 U.S.C. §1983.

Gerald has served on the Methodist Richardson Medical Center Advisory Board since 2011 and served as Chair from 2018 to 2021. He also serves on the Methodist Health System Board of Directors (2018-Present). Gerald has been a member of the City of Richardson Tax Increment Financing Reinvestment Board since 2017 and is currently Chair. He also serves on the RISD Foundation Board (Chair 2012-2014), is a former Chair of City of Richardson Planning Commission and has served on several other boards and commissions. Gerald received the 2023 Citizen of the Year Award from the Richardson Chamber of Commerce.
